I totally reject the message in this cartoon. I don't see this as a win for Blacks. This is as a win for every one in America, and the White majority has given a Black man enough vote to win the presidency with an overwhelming majority reflecting the true symbolism of what America is - No dream is unachievable, here anyone can become anything.

Barack Obama has not won because of his colour but because of his policies.
While Mccain wanted to win because of his colour. The people of US hve doen a historic thing proving that why they are superpower by overcoming such superficial things and going for the quality which a leader should have.

Yes Jeong you have totally missed the point as Arjun said. He is right. People of America wanted McCain to win because of his colour and the country has rejected that.

With Obama in now I sincerely hope this is a step toward the end of needless wars, religious zealotry and racism as the neo-conservatives holding office for last 8 years showed the world.
We still have a long, long way to travel. Then there is every reason to be optimistic about America.
